About Uglii
Uglii Every Business Every Country
Existing online directories organize business information to some extent, but there are thousands of them. There is also no standard approach to defining, organizing or searching for products or services, nor the brands and businesses that provide them.
Existing search engines try hard to create some organization with information, but the results can take hours to wade through. They make money from the chaos by providing exposure to business that can afford to pay for it. This leaves the vast majority of businesses and governments around the world with inadequate discoverability of themselves and their products, services and brands. Uglii is set to change all that with its Uglii Every Business Every Country (EBEC) platform.
The two main areas within the Uglii EBEC platform are Global Directory Services and Uglii Marketplace Services.
Directory services provide:
- global Uglii processes for classifying businesses, brands, products and service information in every country
- global Uglii spatial and taxonomy search processes that facilitate discovery of all business, brand, product and service information that is required in order to make an informed purchasing decision.
Uglii Marketplace services enable:
- every business, household or person to buy the products or services they want in the most competitive and convenient way possible
- every supplier to compete to supply the needs of businesses, households and persons in the geographic area in which they want to supply.
What is the Uglii Coalition?
The Uglii Coalition is a worldwide network of Global Partners, National Partners and Affiliates, that bring businesses, governments, charities, non government organizations, households and people into the Uglii System.
Global Partners recruit National Partners and National Partners in turn recruit Affiliates. Affiliates are the only participants in the Uglii Coalition that can recruit businesses and people into the Uglii System. To do that an Affiliate must have a website and a domain name.
Affiliates ONLY can register businesses in the Uglii System of their country.
The Uglii Billing System automatically apportions commissions to Uglii Global Partners, Uglii National Partners and Affiliates according to agreements made between the three. Global Partners will generally offer commission deals to National Partners of 30-40% of net revenue on sales of Uglii services. If an Affiliate is independent of the National Partner it must receive at least 20% of the net price of Uglii services. The Uglii Billing System will even monitor the registration achievements of individual staff in an Affiliate so that they can be rewarded with commissions if management favours such arrangements.
Uglii Welcomes all Businesses in all Countries
Every business in the world, regardless of location, size, wealth or specialization is able to register for free with Uglii. This means that a business can be discovered by searchers using Uglii Find's true spatial search system at no cost to the business. All businesses can also use 4 other Uglii services at no cost, or buy any of the other 40 or so fee based services. Uglii currently has 46 services but not all will be appropriate for each business. Six fee based services are relevant to all businesses globally.
There are also groups of special services for:
- brand owning businesses and large and multinational businesses
- governments
- telcos
- credit card and other e-commerce systems.
Once a business is registered it is provided with a customized Uglii Control Panel. The business can log into the panel at any time to manage its discoverability and has incentives to do so. The Uglii Control Panel automatically and gently markets the Uglii services that most suit that business depending on its size, geographic spread, industry, exposure in various Uglii systems and many other dynamic parameters.
Uglii Search - Spatial Accuracy and Product, Service, Brand and Model Specificity
Uglii allows every business in every country to register in the Uglii System and create one or more Uglii's on the Uglii Find mapping system. Each Uglii can have keywords or Uglii Brand System elements associated with it for easy discovery by any searcher.
If a brand owning business registers in Uglii it can also register its brand in Uglii Brands. For a modest annual fee, the brand owner can also list its brand under each product or service description that it provides.
A person using Uglii can use two approaches to search: start from a simple Uglii Find spatial search; or use an Uglii Brands search for a specific product, service, brand or model. A person using the Uglii Brands approach can also click through for a spatial reseller search once the required item is identified. Uglii Find spatial searches can be as local (within 100m) or as extensive as the searcher wants and are infinitely flexible. Both systems allow people to use basic or advanced search.
Of course the Uglii System is only about businesses, products, services, brands, models and related information that empowers a business or consumer to make a decision to purchase, or do a deal. Uglii does not aim to replace web search engines if you are looking for other information.
Uglii Spatial Marketplace Systems - Beyond Search
Uglii Spatial Marketplace systems allow any registered business, household or consumer to request an offer for a product or service using Uglii Brands elements. As Uglii Brands has around 700,000 products and services defined, with links to brands that provide them. A person can be very, very specific about what they want.
Businesses that sell products or services can define the catchments into which they want to sell them. Therefore, if a request for offer comes from within their catchment, the Uglii Spatial Marketplace System can make an automatic offer on behalf of the business, or prompt for a manual offer if that is more appropriate. Requests are anonymous but offers made are not.
Uglii has two Spatial Marketplace Systems. The first is for persons and households and is referred to as B2C (business to consumer). Persons are spatially located by their mobile phones, whereas households are located by their registered street address. The range of products and services available in the consumer version is limited to personal and household related products and services.
The second Spatial Marketplace system relates to businesses and industries and uses the full range of products and services of the Uglii Brands System. This is referred to as B2B (business to business) and offers a broad range of metrics and processes that can be used to qualify a request for an offer.
SISS (Uglii) is confident that its spatial marketplace systems will eventually replace search - even the Uglii search processes - because the marketplace systems are more comprehensive and offer more competitive processes.
